- Call to order: at 6:30pm Forest Hills HOA member, Mark Teague, called the meeting to order.
- Announcements: Village of Forest Hills Mayor and Council would like to meet with Forest Hills HOA prior to their meeting to discuss road side clearing and maintenance of all Village roads.
- Cave Springs Roadside Clearing: Forest Hills HOA member, Mark Teague, shared that Patrick Rice, Cullowhee Lawn Care, had been hired to clear the roadsides in Cave Springs because it had not been done in some time. Mayor Almond asked if Robbie Hess had not cleared Cave Springs when the other Village roads were done and they had not. There was some confusion as to who was clearing the roadsides in Cave Springs. Previously BH Graning Landscapes had cleared all Village roads but when a new lawn maintenance company was hired, they did not realize that Cave Springs also needed to have roadsides cleared at the same time. Cave Springs should be cleared along with Village roads since they are Powell eligible roads. Mayor Almond and Council agreed that the invoice paid for Cullowhee Lawncare would be reimbursed to Forest Hills HOA and that future road clearing would include Cave Springs.
- Meigs Way: Mark Teague shared that Meigs Way was supposed to have been paved and had not been. He said there may have been some road bond put on the road previously but that it had not been paved. Mayor Almond said that she would have the road checked and discuss having road repairs addressed with the Council.
- Paving issues in Cave Springs: Mark Teague shared that there were several areas in the pavement that needed attention in Caves Springs. Councilmember Ingersoll who oversees road issues said that he would check those areas and see what needed to be done and discuss maintenance needed with the Council.
- Snow Contract: Mark Teague asked if the Village had a snow contract with the current lawncare company and Mayor Almond said that the Village was contracting with BH Graning to provide snow removal. Robbie Hess said he did not currently have the equipment to provide that service but could provide snow melt if needed.
7. Adjourn: At 7:15pm, the joint meeting adjourned.
