- Call to order: at 7:00pm Mayor Wallace called the meeting to order.
- Announcements:

- Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Couture made a motion to approve the agenda, Councilmember Almond
seconded the motion, unanimously approved.
- Approval of Meeting Minutes for August3,2021 Regular Council Meeting:(All meeting minutes are posted on the Forest Hills website once approved.)Councilmember Almond made a motion to approve the meeting minutes for August 3, 2021, Councilmember Couture seconded the motion, unanimously approved.
- Acceptance of Financial Report & Checklist for the month of August 2021: (All financial reports are posted on the Forest Hills website once approved.)Councilmember Almond made a motion to accept the financial report, Councilmember Couture seconded the motion, unanimously approved. Stephanie asked for a motion to reclass $60 from travel, Workshops to Membership dues to cover the $60 over the estimated cost. Councilmember Almond made a motion to reclass the $60, Councilmember Couture seconded the motion.

- Reports:
Mayor’s Report: Jim Wallace – Mayor Wallace ask for a member of the council to be a representative for the Village on the Jackson County Solid Waste Committee. Mayor Wallace and Council discussed Grant opportunities; Council suggested checking with the School of Government for resources. Council discussed fund balances and Councilmember Almond said she would like to see funds reserved for potential property purchase. Council also discussed potential green space with picnic area.
Roads: Ron Yount - Councilmember Yount was out of town
RPO/TAC: Marcia Almond – Councilmember Almond said there has not been a meeting since she last reported. Councilmember Almond said she would be out of town for the October meeting.
Planning Board: No meeting information
Village Safety: Nilofer Couture – Councilmember Couture said that two officers patrolled a combined 46 hours for the month. She said that there were twenty-one 911 calls on the report and noted that several of them came from North Country Club Dr. and were in connection with rentals, Prospect, and the University Inn.
8. Unfinished Business:
- Discussion of plaque with Mayor’s names/terms: Council will look at getting a complete list of names of all mayors since the incorporation of the Village.
- Discussion of community get together: Marcia – Councilmember Almond discussed dates and decided on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 3:00pm to have the gathering at the Assembly Hall. Councilmember Almond said she would be able to pick up items at Sam’s for the gathering. Councilmember Couture made a motion to approve up to $1000.00 for Councilmember Almond to purchase food, drinks, and supplies for the event, unanimously approved. Councilmember Almond said that the Village had a tent and some items from the previous community gathering that could be used. Mayor Wallace will send Stephanie a letter of invitation and she will mail to Village residents and post the announcement on the website.
- TWSA – Marcia - Councilmember Almond discussed and council agreed that we should discuss costs and other details with TWSA and look at potential grant opportunities as well as a grant writer. Council suggested speaking to Ron Mau for additional information since he is on the board of TWSA.
9. New Business:
- Uncomplicated Kitchen: Councilmember Couture mentioned the Uncomplicated Kitchen Outreach Program and asked if the Village would be willing to be a sponsor, she noted that they were holding a Croquet Tournament on 10-16-21 from 2-4:30. Councilmember Almond made a motion for the Village to sponsor the tournament with a $100 donation, Councilmember Couture seconded the motion.
10. Adjourn: At 9:00pm, Councilmember Almond made a motion to adjourn, Councilmember Couture seconded the motion, unanimously approved.
