Suzanne Stone, Councilperson
Anthony Collins, Clerk
(1) Call to order 6:01pm by Mayor, Jim Wallace
(2) Approval of Minutes from the July 2010 Council meeting. A motion to approve the meeting minutes was made by Gene Tweedy, seconded by Carl Hooper, unanimously approved
(3) Financial reports for the month of July, 2010. Kolleen Begley addressed the Council with the financial report for the month of July 2010. (The year to date budget will be available on the website under the Budget page.) A motion to accept the Financial Report was made by Clark Corwin, seconded by Carl Hooper.
(4) CuRvE presentation.
A. Brian Railsback – representing CuRvE
B. Chancellor John Bardo – representing WCU
C. Architect Presentation
D. Jeannette Evans – representing the business community (Mad Batter)
(5) Questions / Comments were received relative to the CuRvE Presentations.
(6) A motion was made by Gene Tweedy to continue the meeting on August 24, 2010 for information / training session regarding annexations, name changes, referendums and other items that may be of interest relative to the CuRvE situation, seconded by Carl Hooper, passed.
