Minutes of the Village Council

The Village of Forest Hills

Monday, July 12, 1999

University Inn

Present:  Mayor Hooper, Larry Kolenbrander, Harold Williford, and Jim Pearce.

Mayor Hooper called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. and welcomed everyone.

Larry Kolenbrander moved that we accept the minutes of the July 5 meeting as distributed previously and Jim Pearce seconded the motion.  Motion passed unanimously.

The Mayor then began to discuss the proposed letter to resident.  After some discussion, the amended letter was modified and approved for distribution to the Village.

The Mayor then mentioned the special election for the Village which will take place on Tuesday, November 3, 1999.  Details will be set forth in the letter to the residents, a copy of which is found at the end of these minutes.

On the matter of the Village Attorney, Mayor Hooper requested that a few of us will meet with Paul Holt regarding his possible representation as Village Attorney.

Mayor Hooper then welcomed the following new members to the Planning Board:  Angela Davis and Dick Iobst.  They were sworn in by the Mayor.

The full complement of the Planning Board will be:  Larry Kolenbrander (Chair), Jean Adams, Harold Williford, Jim Wallace, Dick Iobst, Ann Chambers, Angela Davis, and Jim Davis.  The final vacancy will be appointed soon.

Harold Williford made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Larry Kolenbrander, and the motion to adjourn passed unanimously.
