Planning Board Minutes

July 16, 2001

Present:           Jim Davis, Sally James, Larry Kolenbrander, Ian Pritchard, Joe Rossano, Gene Tweedy

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by Kolenbrander.  Minutes from the June 18 meeting were unanimously approved with minor corrections.

Kolenbrander introduced Mr. Gene Tweedy as one of the new members of the planning board.  David Shapiro will be the other new member but was unable to attend this evening.

Kolenbrander specifically recognized Dick Iobst and Jim Wallace and thanked them for their valuable contributions to the planning board during their terms of office.

The draft subdivision and zoning regulations are not yet available and should be available before the next meeting of the planning board on August 20.

Some discussion was held regarding whether members of the planning board that represent the ETJ area should have the ability to vote on decisions regarding the incorporated village.  A motion was made, seconded and approved to recommend that the village council consider restricting ETJ representatives voting privileges to only matters that concern the ETJ area.

No other business was conducted and the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm.
