The Council is a 5 member board (mayor + 4 councilmembers) elected to represent the citizens of the Village of Forest Hills. Elections are held every 2 years. The Council is a legislative body with decision-making authority often prompted by the advisory committees and boards of the Village.
The monthly Council meetings are open to the public. The public can sign up at the beginning of the meeting to speak during Public Comments on the agenda and are encouraged to do so. Current agendas are posted on the "Next Meeting Agenda" tab on this website one week prior to each monthly meeting.
